The explosion of confetti before the finale of Mark McNairy’s Spring/Summer 2013 show wasn’t just to announce the arrival of rapper (and frequent McNairy muse) Danny Brown — it also served to commemorate the New York-based menswear designer’s very first runway show. With a quirky offering that ranged from tailored blazers and shorts to metallic suits and a leopard bomber jacket, the designer experimented with pattern and prints while also staying true to form.
